Lati Mulati and Ayados Shakhdarati, two undergraduate students at Southwest Minzu University in Southwest China's Sichuan province, are in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. On January 1, they rode scooters from the entrance to their university, passing Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces before reaching their destination in Hami, Xinjiang. Their journey lasted 53 days.
