At a military camp in Oregon, US and Chinese soldiers exchanged rescue methods and commands during a joint exercise on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
More than 200 people from both sides were involved. The goal was to improve response to natural disasters and deepen relations and cooperation.
They also performed a confined-space rescue operation, "casualty collection point" at a rubble pile.
