President appoints 2 new ambassadors

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping has appointed two new ambassadors, upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature Monday.
Zhang Ming was appointed ambassador to the European Union (EU), replacing Yang Yanyi.
He Yanjun was appointed ambassador to Comoros, replacing Xiao Ming.
